Phase 1 (Days 1–30)
Design & Strategy
This phase establishes a clear, scalable foundation for your Shopify site. We align on design direction, site structure, and SEO strategy upfront so development moves fast, stays focused, and avoids costly revisions later.
- Shopify theme selected and approved
- Brand styling system (colors, fonts, spacing, layout rules)
- Homepage layout direction (wireframe or reference-based)
- Product page structure defined
- Collection page structure defined
- Navigation and collection architecture planned
- SEO foundation setup
This phase includes up to two revision rounds. Revisions are intended for refinement and alignment with the approved direction. Any additional revisions outside of the two included rounds can be scoped and quoted separately if needed.
Phase 2 (Days 31–45)
Theme Build
With the strategy and design direction approved, this phase focuses on building and implementing your Shopify site. All core templates, pages, and product structures are developed with performance, usability, and scalability in mind—across both desktop and mobile.
- Fully customized Shopify theme (desktop + mobile)
- Core page templates built: homepage, product page, collection page, navigation, and cart
- Standard pages built (up to 4): about, contact, FAQs, policies
- Product & collection setup: single product template applied across the catalog, collections structured and fully navigable, filtering and sorting configured (theme-dependent)
Additional templates (such as extra product or page templates) can be scoped and added to the project before or after completion. Ideally not during to stall the project. Each additional template is quoted separately and added to the total project cost once the scope is confirmed.
Phase 3 (Days 46-55)
Systems, SEO & QA
This phase ensures your site is fully functional, SEO-ready, and optimized for performance before launch. We finalize system settings, apply SEO frameworks, and thoroughly test across devices and browsers to prevent issues at go-live.
- Payments, shipping, and tax settings assistance
- Analytics and tracking setup (1 property)
- SEO-ready implementation
- Image optimization best practices applied site-wide
- Performance & quality assurance: mobile responsiveness testing, cross-browser testing, speed and performance review
Quality assurance is built into every phase of the project. Before launch, the site is tested across devices and browsers to ensure consistent behavior and layout. We review mobile and desktop responsiveness, validate key user flows (navigation, product pages, cart, and checkout), and check site performance and load speed.
Phase 4 (Days 56–60)
Launch Ready
This final phase ensures a smooth site launch or handoff, setting you up to confidently manage your Shopify store moving forward. We complete final quality checks, launch the site, and provide hands-on training so you’re fully equipped to operate independently - without ongoing reliance on a developer.
